Review on 📶 C. Crane Versa USB WiFi Adapter 3 – High Power Long Range Wireless Network Adapter, 802.11 B/G/N compatible by Ron Kishore

This is a very small easy to use Wi-Fi adapter. To my surprise, on a Windows 8.1 laptop, it's quick and hassle-free to just plug it in if you're in an area where your computer's Wi-Fi is running. After that, you should turn off Wi-Fi on your computers and everything should be fine. My problem was the signal strength. While it wasn't very good, the signal had to go through at least 4 walls and as a result there was a signal, but it's not yet obvious that the return signal from the laptop didn't always get to the router. Installed and now I'm getting 5 bars and a very fast, stable signal. Also, I now see 7 other systems in the area (up from 5 before) and the 5 I could see now have 3 to 5 lanes. Looking outside would suggest it could be picking up a strong signal from houses around us that are at least 200 feet away. You can choose a more powerful antenna, but this is a big improvement here. Update: Too bad I didn't scroll down the channel list. Turns out it's actually 17, not 7. Considering we live on the same street, that would mean we're getting signals from about 4 houses in either direction and on either side of the street. Actually quite amazing.
