We live in Wisconsin which has been cold, freezing and snowy for many months. Finding boots to protect my small dog's paws is not an easy task. These are some of the highest quality boots we've bought, but they just don't stay with our dogs. One is an 8 pound Poodle mix and the other is a 9 pound Shih Tzu mix. Both have small feet, straight legs and silky hair. Even if they are pulled as tight as possible, they will come loose. I even used large safety pins and pinned them to the legs of the Shih Tzu's coat and she slipped out of her two front boots before we reached the end of the driveway. I'm not giving up on her.
