Wazakura's Not-So-Mini Ceramic Ikebana Vase: A Review

I've always been a sucker for Japanese pottery, so I was really excited to try out Wazakura's Minoyaki Handpainted Small Ceramic Ikebana Vase. The metallic black bottle shape is truly beautiful and the handpainted floral design adds an extra touch of elegance. However, I was a bit disappointed with the size – it's definitely smaller than I expected. While it's perfect for single stems or small arrangements, it's not practical for larger bouquets. Also, the opening is quite narrow which makes it difficult to arrange anything larger than a few flowers. Overall, I would recommend this vase for its unique design and quality craftsmanship, but keep in mind that its size may limit its versatility.

Pros
  • Ideal Size: The small size of this vase makes it perfect for placing on a desk or countertop, and its minimalistic design allows it to blend seamlessly into any decor style. Additionally, its compact size makes it easy to store when not in use
Cons
  • Unique Design: While some individuals may find the hand-painted metallic black bottle-shaped design appealing, it may not suit everyone’s taste, limiting their options when it comes to decorating with the vase
