I had the chrome removed from the mirror lights. I love that they come with a panel tool and a screwdriver. To my surprise they are much brighter than the stock ones and look pretty good with the stock OEM LED headlight turn signal. Installation is moderately difficult if you are not mechanically savvy. It's easy to remove the painted mirror cover, but it's also easy to break other items in the mirror if you're not careful. In particular, when installing a new light, there is a plastic "pin" on the mirror mount, I broke off one of the new signals. (not in a visible place) when trying to get that contact via a new signal. However, it installed without any problems. Time will tell if the UV will fog up the plastic but I really like the way they look!
