Yes, that was my rationale for this purchase. When I stumbled across them I needed a cute, cool and functional way to display my orchid that shouldn't be in direct sunlight. The assembly wasn't difficult. It comes with large foam stickers that can be attached to the wall. BUT I've decided to buy heavy wall molding instead because this is NYC and I'm trying to damage my rented walls as little as possible. My current strips can support up to 16 pounds so my little flower will be making new friends very soon.
