I bought three of these ties in three different sizes for my sons. The two smaller sizes fit the little boys very well. My eldest is 7 years old so I bought a size for 4-7 years. We threw it around our necks under the shirt collar, buttoned it up and pulled it all the way tight. She was still too loose and looked messy on him. If I had given him a smaller size, 24 months to 4 years old, the tie on his torso would have been too short. He's not particularly skinny or anything, so I'm not sure what the problem is. The boys wore them to the wedding and everything was fine as we pulled his tie around his neck for the photo.
