It is quite easy to assemble. Includes extra parts, screws and washers, which comes in handy when I lose one of these during assembly. (Quite possibly) It fits snugly under the couch and won't move if you bump into it. The corners are sharp and VERY VERY SHARP. Every time I sit on the couch I bang my back and arm straight into very sharp corners. Although they fit me the way I wanted them to fit the space, I won't be using them again as I appreciate the lack of pierced ribs.
