The console actually consists of four parts, but they managed to mess up two of them. The legs have holes into which the rods for the console's "slings" go. The holes on each side are on different planes as shown in the attached picture so the sling (even if it could be attached) would be at a terrible angle. The obvious solution, of course, is to flip one of the legs. The problem with this is that the legs have a certain 'up' and 'down'. The "top" of the leg has holes in the crossbar (you can see in the picture) that allow you to screw the leg to the "dining" part of the whole product. So if you flip them over so the holes align in the middle, one of the legs doesn't have a top hole to attach it to the table. Bad job, especially for the price.
