Proven and reliable. Best water bottles on the market

After years of browsing for other quality brands of water bottles for my family of 4 I furiously cleaned out my water bottle cabinet (yes I have a bottle cabinet of water) broken ones , missing parts, leaking water bottles that cost an average of $20 each or more. I glanced at the counter and saw my husband's trusty Nalgene (looks the same, just gray, little changed) 2007. still working, not leaking, doing the job ten years later. I've found these water bottles have been in the dishwasher multiple times a week for the past 10 years. He dropped them on different surfaces many times. He literally threw one off a cliff while walking and survived. They were left in very hot and very cold cars, frozen, filled with water when we found them. The lid is permanently attached and there are no other parts to lose so we still have them intact. They were the only survivors of my purge. His 2 bottles were only gray but now they come in other light colors so I bought 2 for each family member in their own color. This teal with orange was perfect for my daughter. My son turned red and I have purple. What a relief! They're all the same size and shape, easily spotted, and virtually indestructible. All parts are dishwasher safe and kids won't lose straws, caps, stoppers, etc. The 16 ounce size is big enough for me to take on a hike but small enough for my school age kids to handle. There are no fancy hydration mechanisms to learn, clean, or break - it's just a straight twist lid that fits snugly so you don't have to worry about it falling to the bottom of your pack. And the price is very much compared to other bottles I've bought! Continue. You will not be disappointed.
