We bought this large bag for our two cats because they love it and it was good value for the size. However, our vet subsequently advised us that the sodium levels were too high, especially for older cats (we have one). When I tried to donate the rest of the bag to our local animal shelter, they wouldn't accept it, citing the same concerns about the high sodium content.
