False advertising: The product description suggests that this dehumidifier can be used in the bathroom, but the instructions that came with it say that this is not the case. Defective Product: After only a few days of use, the dehumidifier started making a clicking noise as reported by other users. The click rate is around 100 clicks in 40 seconds. It is louder than the fan at low speed, but not audible at high fan speed. There is a slight odor when first used (burning oil film to protect against corrosion?), which disappears after 4 hours of use. If you sleep poorly, have poor hearing, or just use it in an RV or boat, this could be the product for you. In this case, I strongly recommend that you purchase the extended warranty that Revain offers as this item is unlikely to last 3 years. I'm sending mine back to Revain for a refund. I hope they return the extended warranty as well.
