Review on πŸ“± Belkin iPod Touch 4th Gen Anti-Glare Screen Protector: Clear, 3-pack - Enhance Visibility and Protect Your Device! by Dan Chunn

It's not the worst, but it's far from the best either.

My iPod Touch had a basic screen protector that lasted almost a year and a half. It was a regular screen protector that had the sole function of protecting the screen from scratches. It didn't mean reduced glare like Belkin's, and yet I was far happier with it. Screen protectors don't cost much, but do you really want to buy new packs of them often? Putting a screen protector on an iPod is relatively easy, but making sure it fits perfectly around the sides is also a challenge. When I finally put it on for the first time I noticed a few blemishes here and there on the screen, although I've only run over it a couple of times with the cloth that came with it. I removed the protective film from the screen, wiped it again, put it back on and it wasn't perfectly aligned. A tiny piece went through the left side and kept peeling off, even with (ironically) Belkin's silicone protective case. I ended up having to take it off and try my luck with another protector from the pack as the one I was using was no longer holding up very well. The results were no better. When you get decent alignment, the screen's clarity breaks down. This thing is a fingerprint magnet. Unless you are a tidy person who washes your hands constantly or uses antibacterial gel, there will always be some smudges on the screen. The problem isn't just fingerprints, but anything with a protective film looks fuzzy. It's really annoying and is noticeable immediately after application. The anti-glare feature works and of course my iPod screen doesn't get scratched and those are the two main things to worry about. But why sacrifice clarity when there are better defenders?
