Firstly I love the watch and use it for text notifications to see who is calling without taking my phone out of my pocket and control sound/music for my wireless Headphones (paired through my Galaxy S7 Edge), step counter, etc. Exactly what I wanted in a smartwatch. I liked it. I enjoyed using the watch daily for 14 months with good battery life during the day and every night I charged it using the original bedside charger. Then one day my battery life went down to almost 50% in just a few hours with no change in usage, software or anything. I contacted Samsung customer service to try to fix the problem. They made me send it to their service center. They told me that a software update is needed, the back cover is cracked and needs repair, and that the battery needs to be replaced. They then informed me that my warranty had expired a little over a month ago and it would cost me $75 to fix it. drain quickly. If Samsung recognized the manufacturing defect and fixed the problem at their own expense, it would be an inconvenience, but I'd forgive everything. However, they honored the warranty and told me to pay or else they would send my watch back without repair. Very disappointing.
