I'm a grandmother and I bought them! I have plantar fasciitis, a condition that makes my heel very sore, but the soles of these slippers are very soft which helps my sore feet feel better. Google advised me to order two sizes smaller for teenagers, to match my size women's shoes - these size 5 "Big Baby" slippers are perfect for my grandma's size 7 feet! The outsole is very well made and durable. You can definitely wear them outside if you like. They are soft and fluffy on the inside - definitely winter slippers. My only complaint is that the labels in the sippers are very cumbersome and need to be cut out. And when I walk, the slippers tend to flop off the tops of my feet a bit. I think they are the right size (not too big). But it's like the part around the heel/ankle needs to be tilted inwards a bit towards the Achilles heel to get a better grip on the back of my feet. Maybe it's too much for the slippers but they flap a little when i walk. They are well made and comfortable and I recommend them.
