I like everything, the quality is good, the price is acceptable.

General impressions: Crooked Chinese assembly. Damn, I would tear off my hands. The "lid" of the case (slightly to the right of the accessories attachment) moves away from the case. Do not insert back. On the sony m4 (from a relative), the flash comes out with difficulty, also because of the case. There is also a little glue left on the front of the lens barrel, which is not erased. I buy equipment for a lot of money and I want to get excellent quality, not as luck would have it, but…

    Pros
    • Well, let's. A photo: 1. Really high detail. 2. Excellent HDR-DRO. 3. Excellent zoom, excellent quality up to 8-10x, and the quality is not very good at 14x. 4. Excellent auto modes, normal auto takes one photo, auto +, under light conditions, takes ~ 5 photos and combines them, thereby greatly reducing noise. 5. Working noise reduction at 25600 ISO, the quality is, surprisingly, acceptable. 6. Work against the sun leaves much to be desired, but the result is good. 7. Elementary focuses in the dark. 8. Powerful and rotary flash. 9. Excellent background blur on open D. 10. Sometimes automatically detects the object and makes the appropriate settings. It seems that everything important has been said, now Video: 1. Excellent stabilization, you can walk and shoot at the same time (of course, you also need to stabilize the camera with your hands. 2. Decent sound. Zooming in increases the sensitivity. 3. Shooting indoors is good. 4. Shooting in the sun is beautiful, everything is bright and colorful. * When closed, the lens is protected by a small brush, as if removing grains from the lens. . The application from Sony to the smartphone helps, it transfers photos very quickly without losing quality. Video can only MP4.
    Cons
    • A photo: 1. At a shutter speed of 1/4 it is difficult to shoot, blurring is often obtained. Such exposure is set by automation. 2. It happens that the result with HDR differs little from a regular picture. Video: 1. Long refocusing on another object. 2. A little crooked tracking autofocus. In principle, it works, but sometimes it goes astray and often goes to the side. 3. The sound from the camera speaker is quiet, we put the speaker just to be there. The quality is really bad)

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Lately, I use less and less, smartphones are crowding out. Has some pros general design - metal reliable, for 6 years, the flash went wrong a couple of times, climbed out of the grooves, it turned out to be inserted, it continues to work, impressive video quality, video stabilization in difficult situations, you can shoot even at ISO 1600, then pull it out of RAW. An excellent solution for macro and subject shooting, small matrix = large depth of field (depth of field). On a large matrix, such…

I use the 100th model (slightly less advanced), the lens is the same. The rotary display is probably a good thing, but to be honest - how often is it needed? Rarely, but the dough is worth it. The hot shoe in the RX 100 II is for the pros (who love DSLRs), attaching an external flash to this unit is wildness. Although you can of course, gryat pictures will be better. But in general, and with the built-in flash, it turns out very decently. The quality of photos and videos is cool, close to a…

    Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

    * the camera is available at the Sony training and support studio, you can try it in action and compare it with other models (you need to bring your own memory card and tripod (and batteries if you need to test an external flash)). In general, the presence of such a studio is a serious advantage for Sony (if only Canon / Nikon had such a showroom where you can test the equipment yourself . ) * some advantages/disadvantages were found when compared with NEX-6. I chose, in fact, between the…

    Pros
    • +comvers almost all everyday photo needs + image noise is much lower than oncommpact cameras and slightly higher than on (non-)DSLRs.Compared to the NEX-6, when shooting in JPEG the same scene with the same aperture value, almost the same image quality is achieved up to ISO 800-1600. Can shoot indoors without a flash at reasonable shutter speeds (~1/60 s) at ISO 1600-3200 + significantly smaller and lighter than any NEX, especially given the size of a similar lens + there is a hot shoe of a standard design, which makes it easy tocomnnect external non-automatic flashes, even studio monoblocks, if necessary (but hardly anyone will do this) + can be charged from any USB port with a standard microUSB cable.Conveniently, I carry one cable with me to charge my phone and stereo headset, now also for the camera. But there is a minus here (see disadvantages) + great bright flip screen that makes it easy to shoot (almost) discreetly from the hip without lifting the camera + excellent image stabilizer + electronic level + impressive video quality +comnvenient cameracomntrol, morecomnvenient than even the NEX-6 (my subjective opinion). At first I didn’t like the lack of a separate button for setting the ISO, then I read about the Fn function button, which can be programmed for various functions (ISO, white balance) + acceptable level of distortion introduced by the lens - see quick test - + high resolution of the matrix, images can be cropped / resized + gives the impression of a quality product, but does not look defiant (like a Large Black SLR with a Large White Lens) + you can use your smartphone as a remotecomntrol with an external screen
    Cons
    • - there is no charger in the kit, and charging the battery via the USB cable takes a long time (according to the instructions, 230 min = 3 h 50 min). The absence of the obviously necessary memory in the kit is unacceptable for goods of such a high class - in the reviews it was written about the delicate glass of the display, I agree, here the manufacturer _could_ do as in the case of Xperia smartphones, namely, stick a protective film at the factory (but did not) - due to the size of the sensor (smaller than APS-C), the aperture settings for setting a certain depth of field will differ from those in (without-) SLRs, you will need to get used to this - but the depth of field, as a rule, is large. Small is achievable when shooting small subjects at the wide-angle zoom position from close range. "Like a macro" at the same time turns out well, but lovers of good bokeh will not be impressed by the blurring of the background of the RX100M2 - when recording a video with sound, the sound of the motor is recorded when using the zoom, so it's better to use the "foot zoom" - not very comfortable front ring (rotation is too smooth) (my subjective opinion) - thin battery cover that can fall off if dropped - there is no separate viewing mode on the mode ring (without opening the lens). It is solved by _turning on_ the camera with the Play button, however, if Play (or, for example, Fn) is accidentally pressed while viewing, the lens extends - lack of grip (fixed by a case on the belt, in which it is more convenient to hold the camera, in addition, you can shoot from the hip by turning the screen up) - lack of GPS, most likely, this will be "fixed" by the release of an expensive external module on the shoe, less likely - the ability to transfer coordinates from a smartphone - few (almost none) settings for remote control via Wi-Fi (only mode - photo / video, zoom, flash - off / auto)

I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

I bought it primarily as an apparatus for traveling family members - they ignored the DSLR in principle, even if they managed to promote it for "taking with them. " The Mk1 looks like a smarter buy - more compact, and it doesn't shoot as bad as it does for less. And yes, for me the rotary screen is the weak link. I leaned towards M2 because of wi-fi and the ephemeral benefits of having a "shoe". The first digital soap box in the family was the Sony V1 (I’ll omit the canon g5, because they…

    Pros
    • In a very compact case, a decent functionality (remembering the Sony V1 with NightShot and a laser AF istant, I understand that they could show off harder), the feeling of a quality thing is not yet a watering can, but not a cheap parody of a camera, to which many initial DSLRs. Still, high-aperture optics on a low-noise matrix is ecstasy. I got less pleasure by switching to the third Piatak canon, because there I expected low noise. And here - a soap dish, but it makes a little more noise than mk3 (I will keep silent about the loss in details, I did not compare) - the first soap dish in my memory, with which you can, if desired, not use the flash at all (for me this is a huge plus , I do not like the clumsiness that blitz brings to photography). The feeling of unreality of what is happening is difficult to explain in words - in a pocket size, the power is comparable to a good APS-C SLR (this is IMHO, we understand that things are different). But only this trick, I repeat, you can always carry with you in your pocket, if not pants, but sweaters / jackets. Focusing is very peppy, in the twilight it breaks a penny of canon (of course, when it is without a wound flash that turns on the AF illuminator), which already adds potency. The manufacturer, of course, was cunning, putting an oversized loop under the wrist in the kit - unreliable, it is desirable to use this camera with a full-fledged shoulder strap. Someone scolded, but I liked the tracking focus mode, which clings to a point in the center of the frame - in the absence of a touch screen, this is a real way to catch exactly the object you want in motion. I’ll make a reservation that it only works adequately for a single frame, the marketers stuck in serial shooting only for their loved ones. Responsible (by soap standards) management through 2 function selection dials. The front one is blunt in response, though, and spinning without felt clicks (imitation of sound does not count), but it drives everything you need. Yes, the built-in level is a nice addition to any camera. The ability to direct the flash close to the vertical is a plus!
    Cons
    • The menu is too confusing - some settings are piled up, as if without any logic. Of all the modes for displaying additional information on the screen, I did not find the optimal one - they could make it possible to customize to taste. I'm used to controlling the battery reserve on soap dishes, and it is possible only with a fair amount of icons on the screen. From here: Sony used in a fresh camera, I emphasize, a battery that does not show in detail the residual reserve (for some reason, this feature is available on a 5-year-old camera of the T series). I tried to charge via USB - I marveled at the genius of the developers - a very delicate design, I was afraid to break it, and in order to get there you need to adapt and stop drinking. ) The advantage of the solution is the ability to communicate with the camera when the battery is dead. Rotary screen loosened, right side. Moreover, the backlash is minimal, less than a millimeter, but accompanied by a click (if I didn’t know, I wouldn’t take a steam bath, but now I just want to touch it again, damn it) - it feels like a sickle in one place (didn’t check if there is such a new for others, is this the norm? ). I didn’t prick the nuts with the camera, the maximum intensity was, perhaps, when trying on covers. I will try to fix it under warranty. The camera is compact, but in a standard soap case, compactness cannot be maintained. And the regular leatherette cover - "muzzle" - a shame for a lot of money. I thought about ordering such a Chinese tailoring from Ibeya, but from a sane material of animal origin. At the wide end with aperture, everything is very good, but at the long end there is no fountain at all, and this is felt, and not just a reason to grumble. Without a protective gl, the screen will be killed at the expense of Times. With him, if you do not find fault, it looks normal, adds another millimeter to the depth - it would seem, a little, but in the aggregate it is a little fat compared to mk1. Maybe I didn’t find it, but why in “advanced” modes it is impossible to set the front control ring to command fixed (28/35/50, etc. ) zoom positions? It’s more convenient for me, but for the sake of him in the "green zone" will you order to shoot?

Compact and Capable: Impressive Video Quality!

Using this camera, our team found that it's a highly capable device for shooting video. Its compact and ergonomic design makes it easy to carry around and shoot high-quality footage, while the on-board controls and display are intuitive and easy to navigate. One downside is that this camera may be too expensive for some users' budgets, but its features and performance make it a worthy investment for anyone serious about electronics and video.

    Pros
    • Excellent image quality with its large 20.2 megapixel sensor and fast lens
    Cons
    • The camera's price point might not fit everyone's budget

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

I bought this model after a Canon DSLR. Oh happy with the purchase! The photo quality is excellent for this camera. The photo is better than my previous DSLR (D600). Compact stylish camera. I use it five times a year. For a beginner, even a good camera!

I like it, thank you for the quality product.

In general, I really like the device! You fall in love, as they say, from the first frame))) Very acceptable photo quality and excellent video quality. Everything is quite convenient, adjusted for compactness, quickly, reliably, efficiently. Very nice to use! But. It's not some minor flaws that are inherent in any technique that are frustrating, but diametrically opposed inconsistencies in the same place, so to speak. For example: A beautiful lens that is fast at the beginning darkens…

    Pros
    • Stylish. Compact. Quick. Zeiss lens. Large and modern matrix (compared to a soap dish). The ability to shoot in low light conditions without a flash with quite reasonable quality. An oblique flash that can be directed at the ceiling is a fairy tale. Hot shoe with multi-connector with the ability to install a viewfinder, microphone, flash. Tilting high quality display with anti-reflective coating. The abundance of automatic and manual modes. The presence of all modern chips and ruffles such as WiFi, NFC and more. And in general - okay tailored, tightly sewn.
    Cons
    • The range of focal lengths is short, only 28-100. An excellent aperture ratio of 1.8 at the short end quickly drops to a telephoto position right up to 4.9. Indistinct work of auto focus in conjunction with the work of autofocus backlight in poor lighting. Uncomfortable grip. Very scratchy display. The minimum shutter speed of only 1/2022 is catastrophically high. Cannot control over WiFi with SonyPlayMemories. Close-ups are unrealistic due to the huge minimum focusing distance of 50cm at any position other than wide-angle. There is no standard thread for filters and a hood, an adapter is required. Lack of ated firmware from the manufacturer. Incredibly expensive accessories. (Viewfinder 15000r, mount for filters 1200r, pen-pad 600r).

For 3 weeks I shot more than 100 GB of video and photos. The device from Sony turned out to be very worthy. And absolutely professional. I would not advise an amateur amateur to buy it. The camera is very tricky. You need to understand well what you want to achieve and fully understand the settings and management of it. Only then will there be a predictable result. To use it as a banal soap box is just stupid. Of course, it has a lot of perfectly working automatic modes. But all its charm lies…

"David" defeating many "Goliaths". It could also be rated "excellent". But the thing for its price (took for 26500) is not ideal. The small carcass lies uncomfortably in the hand, strives to fall out. Hopefully the AG-R1 will fix this. (600-1000). Much has already been written about the easily soiled, scratchy, fragile screen. I confirm that the film or standard protection PCK-LM15 (from 500) must be installed immediately. I consider the feedback about this device from JOhnson Ewan to be the

I shot more than 100 GB worth of video and photographs over the course of three weeks. The product that was manufactured by Sony proved to be of high quality. And in the utmost professional manner. I would not recommend that someone with no experience in the field buy it. The camera presents a lot of challenges. You need to have a solid understanding of what it is that you want to do, as well as a complete comprehension of the system's configuration and administration. After that, only then…

Well, that's the first week of using this device. I will share my impression. In general, I am satisfied with the device. Compact - what I was looking for, for daily carrying in a bag. The picture quality is good. Compared to all the soap dishes that I used before, the pictures are an order of magnitude better. Although, of course, the quality of the pictures does not reach the DSLR. I am very glad that I waited for the release of MK2, because the main advantage of this camera is a folding…

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

After a 5-year-old DSLR, I realized how far technology has stepped, the quality of the pictures was a pleasant surprise. What I did not expect at all was that the ISO 3200 mode can be considered working. I was also pleased with the ease of interaction with a smartphone. The "remote control" mode is very interesting, but it has not found any practical application, but transferring pictures with one touch (NFC) is a really useful feature.

    Pros
    • Amazing high ISO quality, decent lens, stylish design, WiFi + NFC, video quality.
    Cons
    • Lack of GPS, not very comfortable grip.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done, but I won't buy any more.

This, of course, is my nit-picking, they can be found in any device. After all, nothing is perfect. And if you take the device as a whole, it’s not bad, not a masterpiece, of course, but on a trip it can replace a photo and video camera for home viewing. At the same time, it is compact and the swivel screen is quite convenient. I advise you to buy a second battery and a fast charger, otherwise charging takes more than 3 hours. With intensive use of photos and especially video, I did not have…

    Pros
    • Compact (even very) size. Good, sensitive matrix. Good video. High detail photos and videos. I have never seen better night shots without a tripod from compacts. (with manual BB, of course).
    Cons
    • 1. Non-precision lens mechanism without a damper (small backlash and chatter of the lens drive mechanics during weight unloading). It manifests itself when moving to the working position and when folding. When zooming on video (at the long end), the stabilizer is undermined. But the noise of the drive is heard, only in silence. Of course, this is not a video camera. not fatal. 2. The optical focal arrangement of the lens is not optimal due to its size. Very significant geometric distortion at the edges when shooting architectural scenes with parallax at the wide end. Or missing (insufficient) software correction. Perhaps this Lake is not a Leica at all. 3. Not all options for setting up the quick menu are implemented, for example, in the Auto, Auto +, etc. modes, there is no way except through the main menu to change the aspect ratio of the frame and many other minor quibbles. Built-in software and localization curve, not professionally written. It is enough to turn on the playback mode in the absence of pictures (pay attention to the type of text in 2022). Of course this will be fixed over time, I have no doubt, but for the Sony brand (with the corresponding price) it is a shame.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

I took it in addition to my Panasonic G5, as an "every day" camera. I carry it with me all the time, I don't miss a single interesting photo moment :) Compact, comfortable, functional - I recommend it to everyone! Yes, the price is not cheap. But this is a camera that will not lose its consumer qualities for many years. And if you get bored - give the children not the used junk, but a stylish, high-quality, only maybe with a slight touch of time, a camera.

    Pros
    • . 1. Combination of amazing compactness and very high output image quality. 2. Metal case! 3. Lossless zoom x7.2 (optical x3.6). With acceptable quality x10. 4. Plus to the zoom - a set of virtual fixes: 28 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, 70 mm, 100 mm.: step zoom with these FRs is adjusted to the universal ring on the lens. Zoom at the same time allows you to zoom to any FR. 5. High aperture of 1.8 at the wide end. 6. Excellent functionality. Convenient and clear control. 7. Folding display! A very handy item! Bright, contrasting, with many customizable options for displaying information. 8. Suitable for both novice amateurs (iA, iA * modes) and advanced photographers - a lot of user settings with convenient and quick access. 9. A variety of convenient accessories, greatly expanding the capabilities of the camera and improving the safety of use.
    Cons
    • . 1. Auto BB podviraet sometimes. 2. Autofocus in rare cases misses, or aims at the wrong shooting point.

I write as a simple user, but an experienced one. We have had this camera for 2 years now. We shoot them all the time. He even fell well a couple of times. Once I fell out of my pocket from a height of 1.5 meters on a tile, the blow was good, but the camera was not nearly hurt. Another time, with an open lens, it flew and fell, but also did not suffer much. Definitely a good camera. .

    Pros

    Cons

Different pros: Excellent picture quality. automatic HDR when shooting against contrasting light - it determines itself, aligns the picture itself - you can take pictures in situations where it was impossible before. When cold, it is better to use a native battery. The voltage of the multi-interface connector is not even up to 3 volts, which sadly affects compatibility through an adapter with active interface devices, where it is much larger. With puffs, through an adapter to a quick-release connector, it behaves well. It would be cool to be able to select the focus point on the display, but then one could not dream of a folding screen due to the fragility of the design; so it's better as it is, the more…

    Pros
    • + The ratio of camera size and image quality is almost the same as my fantasies. + Since I associate the compact with pressing one button after turning it on, I was the first to check the automatic modes. They pleased me even without comparison with other cameras. However, I would not advise throwing out a lot of money to those people who are thinking of buying this camera for the sake of filming in the machine. + Multi-interface connector, into which through adapters you can stuff a lot or stuff everything but with an additional . + Works out all excerpts with puff; I dabble in cactus v5 synchronizers, on one of which I hoisted a Sanpak for Nikon, tk. on the camera itself, holding something heavier than the native twentieth is uncomfortable. +JPEG is good. In a simple exposure, you can do without shooting in RAW. + In addition to an expensive wired remote control, you can also use a smartphone, moreover, it will act as a viewfinder. + Availability of underwater boxes for sale. + Able to charge the battery in itself, which makes it even more compact when traveling. I recommend buying an external charger with an additional battery. It makes the process faster and moreover, it can be used as an external power source for direct use of camera functions without the need for a battery. + Good battery life for a small and light battery. + The size of the matrix is excellent and it would be stupid to make it larger, because the value of the depth of field would be different and would become of little use for the gorgeous aperture of the lens at a wide angle. + Of course, the flip screen! + Of course, smart autofocus! + Of course picking!
    Cons
    • - PRICE! It's a pity there are no trade unions, otherwise I would have complained. - As with all Sony cameras, you cannot fill in additional information in the picture, for example, the "Author" column. - Only the front part of the case is made of metal. The dust protection of the lens is mediocre. - The tracking focus can be said to be absent. - The white balance in the machine is not always correct. - The screen is fantastically scratched. I advise you to stick any suitable film from this disease. - Expensive accessories, as Sony always does. The external viewfinder was especially successful. - Categorically unreliable grip. Without a rubber pad, it seems that the camera can simply be blown out of your hands by a gust of wind. - Such a progressive representative of cameras does not know what is shorter than 1/2022 of a second. For sunny shots, it is of little use without filters. - Lens aperture effectively disappears when zoom is used. It's good that not along with the quality of the pictures; although this is relative, relative to the presence of a sufficient amount of light. - The built-in puff cannot be turned directly to the ceiling, only at an angle.

In general, there are very positive impressions about the camera, the wife needed a camera for her purse, so that it would not interfere - it copes with this task . I needed the pictures to

    Pros
    • + Excellent image quality, comparable to entry-level DSLRs with whales on board. + Excellent color reproduction, like most Sony + The small size of the camera, and the truth is pocket-sized without any "buts" + Good aperture at the wide end + Very good video quality, for such a camera size - one can say perfect quality + The Zeiss lens is not for show, as on the vast majority of Sony soap dishes. Zeiss is really good on the RX100-2, excellent sharpness, minimum distortion + Camera control, you can program all the necessary functions on separate buttons, which makes working with the camera a pleasure + Ability to install an external flash + Swivel screen (though in one vertical plane) + RAW (ARW) file format + 20 MP resolution + Large 1" sensor (13.2 x 8 mm)
    Cons
    • Without them, there is nowhere, there are not all minor ones . - Weak autofocus in low light, a lot of misses, there is no adequate illumination - Very weak built-in flash - Not the most comfortable grip, but here it is inevitable due to the small size of the camera - The price of the camera is clearly too high

The product is the most common, it could be worse.

I bought this camera to replace Canon G15 (and before that I also had G7, G11, G12), and perhaps because I got used to the style of controlling Canon G cameras, but after several days of use, there was a rejection of the ill-conceived control of the RX-100, to too confusing menu, the video mode selection menu looks especially strange . Also: it is uncomfortable in the hand, it’s simply slippery, I had to buy a special rubber pad for it (I found it in one single place in Hong Kong for 1300)…

    Pros
    • - really great (unsurpassed) image quality for a class of pocket size cameras - unrivaled low noise for a pocket zoom camera - good sharpness across the field of the frame as a whole - great working (and not just marketing!) and delivering real results in-camera HDR mode - almost no delay descent
    Cons
    • - an uncomfortable camera in general, both in terms of sensations in the hand and in control (in particular: - a slippery uncomfortable case, to which you can buy a special branded rubber pad, but in Hong Kong in June 2022 it cannot be found cheaper than for 1300 ) - a complex, illogically made menu that repels the desire to use the camera (for me personally) - brake mode for viewing already taken pictures - in HDR mode, for some reason, the self-timer is blocked, which makes it impossible to fully shoot night scenes in this mode . - no built-in ND filter - the white balance does not work well when shooting on the streets at dusk (almost 100 percent of the frames)
