Review on Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II camera, black by Nguyn Qu Ph (Nhn) ᠌

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

I have been using the camera for less than a month, but considering that I have been doing photography for more than 30 years, and I use professional full-frame equipment (the wife’s RX100-2 camera), I understand what I am writing and an hour is enough for me to evaluate this or that photographic equipment. In general, there are very positive impressions about the camera, the wife needed a camera for her purse, so that it would not interfere - it copes with this task . I needed the pictures to be of high quality - and it copes with this task. Of course, we shoot only in RAW format, I will not write about JPG - this is not a format. As I wrote above, autofocus works very poorly in poor lighting, the problem is due to poor backlight It is quite convenient to work in manual mode - the aperture is set to the wheel around the lens, shutter speed to the multifunctional wheel, access to the necessary functions through the FN button, plus additional frequently used functions can be programmed to additional buttons. The flash is extremely weak, what they write is a plus - that it can be bent up - to put it mildly, about nothing . it is weak in the forehead, where else to bend it? :) In general, I had to buy an external flash Sony F20M. The built-in one is good for shooting from a short distance up to 3m and for highlighting shadows when shooting in sunny weather. One more thing - after processing the photo, I recommend compressing it to about 12 MP - then you will get virtually perfect quality! Can I recommend it? If advanced amateurs who know Photoshop and Camera RAV, then of course yes . for people who only poke the shutter button, it makes no sense to take cameras that cost more than 10-12 thousand. rub. Trust me, you won't find much difference in quality.

Pros
  • + Excellent image quality, comparable to entry-level DSLRs with whales on board. + Excellent color reproduction, like most Sony + The small size of the camera, and the truth is pocket-sized without any "buts" + Good aperture at the wide end + Very good video quality, for such a camera size - one can say perfect quality + The Zeiss lens is not for show, as on the vast majority of Sony soap dishes. Zeiss is really good on the RX100-2, excellent sharpness, minimum distortion + Camera control, you can program all the necessary functions on separate buttons, which makes working with the camera a pleasure + Ability to install an external flash + Swivel screen (though in one vertical plane) + RAW (ARW) file format + 20 MP resolution + Large 1" sensor (13.2 x 8 mm)
Cons
  • Without them, there is nowhere, there are not all minor ones . - Weak autofocus in low light, a lot of misses, there is no adequate illumination - Very weak built-in flash - Not the most comfortable grip, but here it is inevitable due to the small size of the camera - The price of the camera is clearly too high
