remote controls come with batteries installed. It connects to my iPhone quickly and easily. It has two buttons, one for iPhone and one for Android. Also comes with hand straps. They are easy to use and work great. I showed it to a friend and she "took" one. LOL Don't put the battery cover on or off. It's held in place by plastic pins and you can snap off one of them.
