Review on Blue Snowball Condenser Microphone Cardioid by Steve Washington

I bought this microphone to use for online piano lessons. After reading the reviews I thought it was a good choice. I've been using this for about 4 1/2 months and the sound quality I've received is dirty at best. He also has a problem with the volume: the sound goes up and down, loud at first, then it suddenly becomes quieter. I've checked the manual and I don't see any way to make adjustments. I have changed my computer settings so that the automatic volume control does not work. So I contacted the manufacturer. The only way to contact them is to enter your query through their website. The only response I got was to send them a copy of the invoice to make sure I bought the mic. Nothing after that. No response to repeated requests for help. So if you bought this microphone and it is defective, DO NOT expect any help from the manufacturer. Now I have a $50 paper. Buyer Warning.
