I've been building computers since 1994 and this is by far the best case I've ever bought. I know hulls have come a long way since then, even in the last 5-10 years. Then I heard there was a case with opening tempered glass, flip-out access panels, heavy-duty mesh filters, addressable RGB lighting, and magnetic snaps all around (including the dust filter!). In fact, I put off building a new facility, and when I saw this case, I literally did my best to throw my money at Lian-Li. No other reason mattered. When it arrived I was heartbroken to find that it had somehow been damaged in transit. Broken plastic fasteners holding the front panel. I contacted Lian-Li directly if they could help. and they sent me replacement mounts. So it's not just a matter of being amazed, but also that Lian-Li has a great support team. And this case is everything I hoped for. Not only are the sides articulated, but they slide off easily so they don't hang around all the time while you're working in the case. The back of the motherboard (pictured), where most of the cables would run, even has practical and aesthetic covers. There are also plenty of zippers on the back that were wide enough for my velcro. It's like they've interviewed multiple system builders and made detailed notes on everything each could possibly need. What I found really interesting about dust filters is that they are perforated and flexible material with a magnetic backing. It can be easily removed for cleaning and is very durable. The only annoyance about the case itself is that it doesn't come with a USB-C case head, which is only sold separately. However, there aren't many reversible USB-C cables out there just yet, so this isn't an immediate problem. I also suspect this is one of the reasons the case is only around $100, which is a big deal given what it does. In my opinion, this is the gold standard for case design. Everything fits perfectly, the quality is top notch and I couldn't be happier! My next build will definitely be Lian-Li.
