I wore these to wear under my wrist wrap for comfort and sweat protection. It's well made, thick material and offers the compression I need because my wrist is swollen. It would also be good to put on if you are removing the brace or you just need some light support or something to keep your joints warm. I think it can withstand a lot of hand washing. Would not machine wash.
