I cannot connect the straps through the car because they both have male ends. A user suggested using the other strap meant for the crossbars on the side. It doesn’t come off and if I turn the bag the zipper is in the front and I don’t have anything to strap to the crossbars because I’ll have to use one of their straps to get it through the car. This was a mail drop for the front door. It is heavy and large enough for letters and small newspapers. The spring is very strong. However, it is only the front piece. They need to sell a corresponding back of the door piece to finish off the gaping hole on the back side of the door. We had to be very creative and finally bought items to cut to fit and nail around it. Works as advirtised. This is the second case I bought. 1st one was in Grey for my Lenova Yoga C-940. This one in black compliments my Lenovo X1 Carbon. Interior materior is very soft and plush. Bought these for costa rica for sharp volcanic rocks and loved these. Actually wear them in San Diego for the beach and gives enough support for walking trails to beach and cleans up easy. I was a little worried it wouldn’t be bright enough but I installed this (which was really easy) and it’s pretty bright. It had three different color options and I chose the white led.
