Works as advirtised. This is the second case I bought. 1st one was in Grey for my Lenova Yoga C-940. This one in black compliments my Lenovo X1 Carbon. Interior materior is very soft and plush. Plenty of protection without worry of scratching. I trust light or heavy rain my device will do just fine. But for sure it's protected along with the adapter, mouse, and mouse pad I store in the outer compartment.

It looks and feels durable, also perfectly fitting my HP envy 360. Easy to pull laptop in n out of since it is vertical. Water does slide off of it but it will still feel wet even if the water slides off. The whole pouch will be soaked if submerged in water for a long time. I like this verticle opening sleeve. It works nicely for extracting my laptop from my backpack without removing the sleeve first. It has a nice soft interrior and is made of a durable soft canvas. It is not waterproof, however you could scotchguard it to make it water repellent.The only negative is the pull tabs are made of the same canvas material. very cute and useful, I love that it is vertical, it makes a lot easier to take the computer out of my backpack. The pocket holds the charger, mouse, and earphones without feeling bulky. I was hopping the inside would be a little softer though. Great for the price.

This fit my 14” hp pavilion like a charm! It’s snug like a glove with enough wiggle room to get your laptop out with ease. I don’t know if it’ll be considered "water resistant,” I haven’t tested it out and quite honestly I don’t think I want to take any chances. The zipper and compartments are also really nice- they don’t seem as if they’d get stuck any time soon. One thing though, is that the color isn’t the deep wine red that you’re thinking of, but rather the type of red in my photos.

Looks as expected, rather fluffy compartment, working well so far. I bought to keep my hp envy safer inside a backpack and it's a good thing that making sure the zipper closes isn't important. The laptop fits but the wireless mouse dongle I keep in my laptop prevents the zipper from closing completely

It smells a little funny at first but I sprayed it with my lavender furniture and clothing disinfectant and it smells fine now. This is perfect for a student with a backpack. Have it sitting straight up in your bag so you can easily unzip and just pull your laptop out without having to pull the whole case out! Also I had to walk to another campus and the waterproofing had me feeling okay on snowy and rainy days! Would recommend!
