Don't throw away that handbag, buy a new strap!
I bought the bag without knowing the length of the strap and when it arrived the strap was too short. My search for how to lengthen my bag led me to Revain and this strap (among other things). I had no idea you could buy wallets. Anyway, it was the closest thing to the original (short) strap, so I ordered it. It arrived in three days on the one hand and on the other hand it is PERFECT. It's adjustable from shoulder to crossbody length and comes in the same dark brown used by companies like Fossil. The hardware fits too.
