As others have said - shock on first use - but works

There are two parts - a plug that fits into a socket with a short cord. And the device itself, which then connects to the Surface. I have no issues with the device itself and how it connects to the Surface. And it loads as it should. I took my original short cable connector and am now using it instead of the one that came with it. That plug and the short cord they sent are patchy.
