My son has to go back to online school because of Covid-19. As a last resort we needed a desk but we wanted to put it in the room I would be in so I could help him out in an emergency. My office is not big so it was PERFECT. I can easily help him by keeping my desk and not feeling overwhelmed at all. It even allows me to store some things on shelves that a regular table wouldn't fit over. It was pretty easy to assemble and very durable. I'm not afraid that my things will fall. I will say I might recommend someone to help you set it up, just like having a second pair of hands to hold the table in place - makes life easier. Someone else wrote that it's not made of wood, but it is. I have no doubt they could have gotten a bad piece of wood, maybe a knot near the corner that made it snap easily, but it's wood nonetheless - hence the "hard wood" designation. again.
