Review on 💡 Dell 330W AC Adapter: Powerful Charger with 6ft Power Cord (DA330PM111, XM3C3, ADP-330AB B) - Buy Now! by Jeremy Lunn

I am an MSi GT72S user who was annoyed with the battery drain under full load, which I believe is caused by insufficient power from the 230w adapter became. After some research I bought this 330w Dell adapter which is perfect for the GT72(S) model. Both this adapter and the MSi adapters are manufactured by Delta Electronics; The output voltage (19.5 V) and polarity (plus on the center pin) are also the same. Most importantly, the 7.4 x 5.0mm connector of this Dell adapter is exactly the same as that of MSi adapter. During my research I found that the power connections on the GT72 and earlier GT70 are NOT the same; In fact, searching "GT70 adapter" easily reveals that the correct connector for this model is 5.5 x 2.5mm. So it's safe to say that another review claiming that this adapter was used on the GT70 is misinformation. He/she probably didn't want to do it; I suspect he/she meant GT72 but for some reason wrote GT70 instead. So be careful when purchasing this adapter; it fits GT72(S), NOT GT70. (By the way, I didn't reach my original goal with my purchase: my laptop still drains its battery under full load and refuses to take advantage of the now available premium instead. (My power meter shows that the power consumption is still limited.) 230 W.) But it has nothing to do with the Dell adapter, so 5 stars. I will ask MSi R&D what to do about battery drain.)
