I don't know much about these oar boards. I bought a few and my whole family has a set for each person. This will be the second I've bought for friends. My wife and I also like to use them in small ponds near us. Well I think they are great for any smallmouth bass or carp. Every time one of my fishing friends has a birthday, I look for it for them. Also, this one in particular is extremely high quality, it actually has the best telescopic paddle I've ever seen, I'm jealous I have to give it to my boyfriend! I can see the paddle is a bit loose and needs some tightening, but with a twist of the fold and lock nut it tightened up straight away. The carrying bag is particularly handy and also has carrying straps that make weight management much easier. It's easy to talk under the elastic drawstring, and there's plenty of room or maybe a small fridge. I highly recommend it as I bought it for my boyfriend! I hope that was helpful.
