I recently bought a bike trainer to use with my road bike in the winter and I chose this mat to put underneath. Love it so far PROS: • Protects the floor underneath. The trainer and bike are heavy and I can see they can damage any regular floor or carpet • It muffles the noise a bit • Easy to clean when you're sweaty • You can actually pull the mat forward or back on the wheel move more easily and a trainer. The only downside I can point out is that it's pretty tight and takes some effort to lay flat. I rolled the ends in the opposite direction from where they were wrapped and it worked pretty well. So far it's laying flat and working great.
