I have a lot of shirts, blouses and tops but don't have much hanging space, so they were ugly tucked away in my tiny closet. Also, my tops kept slipping off the cheap tubular plastic hangers and falling on the floor, making it impossible for me to find the right things in time. Disappointing! Time for a quarantine project. I bought alternatives to hangers. I quickly ruled out velvet hangers because they had too many flocking and bleeding defects. Wooden hangers are beautiful and durable, but they take up a lot of space, especially for lighter clothes like blouses. Then I found these hangers. On the plus side: an ingenious slip-on feature that protects the neck of shirts without a clasp. They stay in place so my blouses stay where I put them. They have small hooks for matching blouses. They are very thin, so you can fit a lot more clothes in a smaller space. They look great in the closet (I sorted my blouses by color). Cons: I just bought them but no they don't look strong. Obviously, they are NOT designed for heavier clothing (suits, pants, coats, etc.). For pants, I prefer heavier hangers with wooden clips, although these hangers will likely work for lighter garments like leggings and skirts as well. For suits, I prefer larger hangers so that matching blazers keep their shape. But now there's a lot more room to fit those heavier garments (on proper hangers) without crushing them. All in all they are perfect for my needs. I've just ordered two more packs to complete my wardrobe makeover.
