the fabric is a little thicker than it looks in the picture (ie the 'thread' is not narrow) and the redness on the legs is too oily to compare with the ruddy tinge become streaks in the grain of something else like I've tried. The height isn't bad and it comes fully assembled which helped. Let's assume it's lighter than the gray in the picture when it really isn't - it all depends on the lighting. The most annoying part is the crunching cushioning noise, which seems like an odd omission and makes the chair feel as cheap as I'd like. Overall not a bad chair but future versions with black/dark legs and less noise will be big improvements
