To be honest I don't know how to rate the "taste" or the "thickness" of dog powder, so I just don't rate it. But let me put it this way. My dog doesn't hate it. I was afraid since she is a big girl and costs a lot that her food would taste gross and she would give me trouble. but no! So, Ava is 12 years old, had a stroke about 6 months ago and has been on medication ever since. The diarrhea started the day she got home and came and went too often to be healthy. The vet attributed it to the medication since it was the only new addition, and she went through an exhaustive list of antibiotics and probiotics that ended up only helping for a short while. Ordinary squash, sweet potatoes, or rice didn't help either. I stumbled upon this while looking for another joint support for their BC. on wonderful stroke meds that now she can't even take her arthritis meds. All of this can actually be magical. For example, they are clearly holding Tinkerbell hostage and stealing all the Dust. I was kind of at the end of my tether with what we were going to do next. She even had trouble getting up due to arthritis and then stomach problems, but I CANNOT take her off her stroke meds! Maybe it was wishful thinking, but that first night she had dinner with both Green Shell Lip Powder and GI Balance, and she WAS MOVED. For example, I think that for the first time since the stroke, she really tried to walk faster than me. Okay, GI powder didn't work overnight. She wasn't magical right away but it's been a few months now and I swear 90% of her poop was normal. I also don't give her a full dose, to be honest if I did her food would be 75% powdered which doesn't feel right. I think the packet says about 3 tablespoons, but I end up giving her about two and a half teaspoons and then the entire required amount of green lipped mussel powder. Honestly I've looked at chewing gum and I'm pretty sure the prices are better there. I'm very glad this is working and I pray that the company doesn't follow the path of others and start changing formulas to get on the network. Pet store shelves that sacrifice quality. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🐾
