I am an elderly male and have used a variety of Walkman radios on my daily walks for decades. My favorite Sony Walkman has been discontinued and I decided to give this radio a try. I was very surprised by the performance of this radio. It's about the height of a credit card and about Β½ inch wide. It fits easily in a t-shirt pocket. The sound is great. I did not use the headphones that came with the radio. Instead, I used my inexpensive lightweight Panasonic on-ear headphones (RP-HT21). Therefore I do not rate the headphones. I live in a metro area, but one of my presets is an NPR station 30 miles away in another state. Reception for all my preset stations is excellent. Not sure about reception in rural or remote areas. The radio looks expensive, is qualitatively and professionally processed. The instructions are complete but poorly written in English. The instructions are ok with a little perseverance. This radio appears to be a steal for the price. I've only had my radio for two weeks and I hope it will last despite the price. Added nine months later: I have two of these radios and both have lasted with no problems or problems.
