I have been going for a walk every day for over twenty years. I appreciate a small battery operated radio to add a little spice to a sometimes dreary routine. My rural lifestyle and poor reception became a problem. It was tedious holding the radio in your hands and constantly changing direction to look for sounds. A small CC radio, great for the price and great for walking. Going more than 50 miles from the antennas is a minor problem. You need to hold the radio in a certain way to get clear reception. I'm sure it will work better closer to town. I use the AM wheel for listening, the scan setting is good, but the number does not match the Hz station, e.g. B. 850 reads like 846 or 853. Only 630 reads the same. Makes it a bit difficult to tune in to the correct station when two stations are close together.

I am an elderly male and have used a variety of Walkman radios on my daily walks for decades. My favorite Sony Walkman has been discontinued and I decided to give this radio a try.
