I used a table lamp when painting with diamonds, especially at night. Some numbers, especially 6 and 8, are hard to see on my canvas. Sometimes bright lights emanated from the screen. I figured there must be a better way. OK, it's all over now! The product arrived well packaged. There are minimal guidelines, but you really don't need a usage policy; plug it in and press the light button. You can adjust the brightness of the light from dim to bright. This makes it much easier to view the code. Read previous reviews before buying. It is thin and heats up around the edges as the description states. I was waiting to write my review so I can comment on my experience. I used it for at least an hour a day 12 days out of 14. I had no problems with the power cord as mentioned in previous reviews. The cable doesn't seem too short to me; it's 59 inches long without the fork. The light plate is thin and durable. I recommend it to anyone who wants to make painting with diamonds easier.
