Buying a genuine Fitbit replacement band fully justifies the slightly higher price compared to cheaper "fakes". It took me months to find a genuine small replacement strap as Fitbit stopped selling Charge 2 accessories when (one side) of my original black strap broke. The tracker was still working, so I didn't want to spend money on a brand new device when all I needed was a replacement strap. I've tried cheap fake straps; these groups did not agree at all. Additionally, the straps had extremely complicated fasteners that, once attached, made it almost impossible to remove the strap from the Fitbit's main component. If, like me, you have a very thin wrist, even a really small Fitbit band isn't going to fit you perfectly. This genuine Fitbit strap fits much better than the stiffer, rougher plastic used in cheaper unofficial straps. The material is much smoother and curves (curls) closer to the FitBit tracker when attached. The straps are also easy to put on and take off as I would expect by pressing the clasps. It was a relief to receive this replacement band!
