You press the sign in button via google play store, youtube or via settings and you are taken to the google sign in page and you don't have a cursor to type or an on screen keyboard. No problem, you can use the arrow keys to navigate to the input field and select it with "OK", which will open the on-screen keyboard. Now HERE is the problem. The OK button on the controller also doubles as an enter button for Google purposes, so it will also automatically try to move on to the next part of the login process. You just haven't entered anything in the field yet. So he reloads the page to prompt you, and guess what? Still no keyboard. Therefore, you need to click OK again for the keyboard to appear and Google to restart. Above. And more. And another result? You can't sign in to Google. You cannot access the Play Store.
