Nice looking design for use as a carry on, duffle bag, and backpack.I didn't want anything that looked too "new" or screamed "tourist" and this fits the bill perfectly!Good number of pockets and nice access to the main compartment.Main compartment zippers will accept a travel lock for added security.I like that the material designed to covers the shoulder straps when not needed, is fixed and not a roll-up like some other packs, so it can be used for storage as well.The availability of the various grab handles is a nice feature too.This was purchased mainly for a trip overseas, but may become my main, day pack. (will make a great B.O.B.)The canvas is soft and supple, and does not have that "old style tent smell".I will probably treat it with a water repellant for additional piece of mind.Excellent design and handy size pack!Highly recommended to anyone looking for a versatile and comfortable bag.
