Review on High-Performance Outdoor Mini PTZ Camera: Hikvision DS-2DE3304W-DE, 3MP, 4X Optical Zoom, 1080P, POE/12VDC by Elizabeth Morrison

This is my 5th purchase of a Hikvision camera and as always I am still amazed at the picture quality their 3 megapixel cameras offer. I returned the 4MP 2CD2142 with 2.8mm lens because it was blurry, especially around the edges. It was much better image quality at all zoom positions. Very impressed with its night capability despite not having IR. The photos shown are all in the PM, you can see the neighbor's light is on, but there are absolutely no lights on in my house. All my other cameras are 2CD2132 3MP with a 4mm fixed lens and I get compliments from all my neighbors on the sharpness of the image. I'm using a Synology server with Surveillance Station and setup is pretty easy as long as you access the camera interface and make the necessary changes to your network. All my PoE cameras with wifi texas injector are also bought from Revain and work great. I would recommend any gear I've mentioned here, except of course the returned camera. UPDATE: Unfortunately, after about two weeks of luck, this camera started to fail. Now it keeps turning on and off and has become unusable. I want another one but I hesitate to buy the same one again. Can work with stationary cameras as they will work for years without any problems.
