Review on 🔌 gofanco Prophecy HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor Converter & Repeater - Supports 4K 60Hz, HDR, HDMI 2.0a, HDCP 2.2 by Ashutosh Takumatla

I was a little annoyed trying to find a solution to a problem I was having setting up audio. I have an SMSL SU-8 that often cuts out the audio for half a second every few minutes when using an optical cable straight from my LG TV. and he just had a problem with my tv. Optical output from any other device works fine. Before using this audio extractor, I bought and tried a cheaper alternative here at Revain with pretty poor results. The sound is cut off. etc. This unit seems much more durable straight out of the box and worked great, after plugging it in and turning it on via the USB port on my TV. I didn't have to fiddle with it or fiddle with my TV's settings to even get it to work. All I had to do was set the DIP switches on the device to the correct positions to extract the ARC audio and set the EDID mode to 2 channel audio. Also tested all audio delays using the YouTube Audio Delay Test and absolutely no noticeable delay compared to USB direct from my PC to the DAC. Very very happy. THANK YOU for building a solid and very well thought out product. Will definitely look for Gofanco first in the future.
