Still worth the money

If you received a different box and it didn't work the way it did for me. You may not even want to spend money to replace your rig. If you found this box, well it works great for me. The previous one produced some sort of feedback that kept the Nintendo Switch from going to sleep. So the console and the monitor it's connected to are trying to wake up from sleep and it's just unbearable. It seemed that the first would do the only thing he had to do, but no.

No 5.1 sound from device

I had high hopes for this as I own several other Gofranco AV devices and enjoy using them. First, the instructions are incomprehensible and very short. I also think the setting to enable audio extractor is reversed as I couldn't work when I enabled it. After playing with the device for a few hours, everything worked for me. Even though it reported that my audio player supports 5.1, when I ran the Dolby 5.1 audio test I could only hear the left and right channels. When I connect an HDMI cable to

WORKS PERFECTLY! Use to extract HDMI ARC audio from TV in Toslink OPTICAL

I was a little annoyed trying to find a solution to a problem I was having setting up audio. I have an SMSL SU-8 that often cuts out the audio for half a second every few minutes when using an optical cable straight from my LG TV. and he just had a problem with my tv. Optical output from any other device works fine. Before using this audio extractor, I bought and tried a cheaper alternative here at Revain with pretty poor results.
