Excellent protection against frizz and moisture. I use it when I tie my hair back, keeps hair smooth and in place. Just a little crunchy, which is fine with me as it's needed to hold shape and control frizz. I wouldn't use it for curling, it's heavy. Use the mousse version instead, great curl shape, I highly recommend.
