I live in Houston and ordered this before a winter storm and oh my god I'm so glad I did. I don't know if my dog could have endured being outside other than going about his business without her. I actually ordered several jumpsuits from different sellers to make sure I had one that fit him before the storm (which stopped shipping entirely). I will keep that. The material is good quality: thick enough to keep him warm but not so thick that it weighs him down. It's stretchy enough that it doesn't shrink, but hugs his body like you'd expect from heat garments. When I first put it on, he was shocked and stretched his legs in the air while walking like a ballerina. But he got used to it pretty quickly and after a few socks he's fine again. Just weird ballerinas stepping back and forth. Definitely highly recommended, was essential in such frosty weather! He is a Chihuahua of about 7.5 to 8 pounds. I ordered size S, sage green
