Review on πŸ’§ Water Resistant JJC MC-SD12 Memory Card Case: Safely Store and Protect 12 SD Cards by Juan Mcallen

Waterproof but doesn't hold cards securely

What I don't like about this card case is that it doesn't always hold SD cards securely. Sometimes when I open the case the cards fall out of the slots. Possible catastrophe as I often photograph in rough terrain or in the water. There's also no way to discard cards so I know they're full. I usually turn the cards over when they're full so I don't accidentally reuse them, and in this case there's only one way to put them in. On the plus side, it floats and is waterproof, at least for a short time. I submerged it under water for about 10 minutes and when I checked it was completely dry inside. I will continue to use it due to its water resistance but will keep looking for something better. Three years later, and this case is in the miscellaneous drawer. Camera gear I never use. I used my ThinkTank card holder again which is not waterproof but works much better for me.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
