Below average. But after a few socks I really started to suspect it wasn't 100% cotton. They curl up and the appearance of the material after use and washing is terrible. I had pastel colors: 2 bright yellow, 1 white and 1 pink. The detailing is nice, but a few threads stick out. Not a very clean job. They are also very long and my daughter is very tall for her age.
