The pin is not very good quality, cheap but looks good and adds character and style. The back of the stone is a safety pin style and the coin is a pin style which I don't like but works well. The chains are quite flimsy and will likely break if even slightly snagged on something, but add a nice touch. Mine came with an already broken chain, it turned out to be missing a couple of links which I couldn't find anywhere in the box. The white crystal stones all appear glassy, while the black ones appear like some sort of enamel on the sides. The large center stone appears plastic or resin. The curved metal design in front of the stone is very beautiful and adds visual interest. They're packaged in a cute box, which makes them more gift-worthy, but the boxes (I've ordered a few needles from this company) aren't always well constructed. When they are, it looks a little classier, and when they aren't, it looks cheap. In the box, the needle is packed in a small plastic bag with a zipper. It seems cheap to me when the jewelry comes in a plastic bag. While the packaging doesn't prevent the pin from slipping around in the box, which unfortunately causes such pins with chains to become tangled, it wasn't difficult to untangle. The biggest problem is that it broke before I even had to unravel it.
