My rule of thumb for our new car was NO DOGS! Phoebe has short, coarse, auburn hair that digs into the fabric so well I have to pull it out with tweezers. And she sheds A LOT! I swore to myself she wouldn't drive our new car with its pristine black interior. When it became clear that there was no other choice, I thought about sewing pajamas for her to keep shedding to a minimum. Luckily I came across the Shed Defender Onesie. Everyone thought I was crazy including Phoebe but I love her! When we first put them on her it was pretty weird until she realized the fabric wasn't tight at all. Soon she was running and jumping as usual. Now she equates the red pajamas with a car ride and stands patiently while we put them on. And I'm a happy camper because there's no dog hair in my new car.
