I was looking for thin nursing pads because I leak very little when feeding or immediately after pumping. So I found them as a supplement and gladly tried them out. They're made of a material that sticks to my skin, probably the Lansinoh nipple cream I use, but the nursing pads I use don't stick to my skin that much. They look a lot less cottony. The single adhesive strip on the back works great. These pads are a lot less noticeable than the bulky Lansinoh pads I've used, but they are flat and a little wrinkled around the edges, which can crease against the skin and cause itching. I'm using them again, but only because I can't find similarly thin pads.
