My son wears as few shoes as possible, but of course that's not often possible. He likes flip flops, but that's not the best choice; More than once they clung to something or flew off their feet. They are great as he can put them on and take them off without undoing or fastening anything. They are very similar to Crocs. They are light and have a great rebound. And of course they are perfect for both wet and dry conditions. My only gripe - and it's certainly minor and doesn't affect functionality - is that the paint (camouflage design) on the underside is quite uneven.
