This is a lightbulb. It does what it's supposed to: see food in the fridge! Our light bulb is just above the door. So if you reach for something on the top shelf, our other light bulb will burn your hand. It's an LED, it's cool to the touch. The case is plastic, not glass, so it's much safer. Very satisfied. I can find food and I don't burn the hair on my arms!
