Although I haven't had the chance to wear mine in the snow yet, they appear to be well made and ready to withstand as much as my last pair of gaiters (have just wore them in the rain today and they were great!). The model I received is slightly different from the picture: no top button (which shouldn't be a problem as there is a zipper under the velcro); and the strap under the shoe doesn't go forward (which I didn't understand anyway). Easy to put on and take off, but took a star off because the hem strap was placed backwards (there is a loop on one side of the gaiters to pass an extra strap through, but the rest of the strap is on the other side - I can sew on a new bracket with no problem, or cut off the remaining strap, or stick it in Velcro). I bought size M as my last pair of leggings barely fit over my pants and I plan to wear the new ones with my boots as well. They're a little high for me (women's shoe size 9.5'3"), but the velcro on the front seems to have enough stiffness to keep them from dangling and just the right fit for my boots.
